Uncle kaun hai?

My best friend Ranjna and I were labmates during the 6th semester Microprocessor lab. Our project group comprised 6 students. One day Ranjna came to the lab with coconut burfi in her hand. I felt great to watch that childlike happiness on her face. She came to the group and distributed the burfi and then she revealed the reason for her happiness that her brother became a father. I shared my happiness on hearing this. Then all other labmates joined me in congratulating her.. On seeing the burfi distribution, Unni also came to the scene. He enquired about the reason for the sweet distribution.

Ranjna: I became an aunty..
Unni: Congrats.. That's a great news.. Now, who is the Uncle.. Is it Ameen??

@Ceedy,
Thanks for the comments and for dropping by. When Unni made that comment both myself and Ranjna were silent for sometime while the rest were finding it difficult to stop their laugh..

@Macadamia,
Ranjna became an Aunt when her sis-in-law gave birth to a baby. When she revealed this news as 'becoming an Aunt', Unni was asking who the Uncle is. (The joke is for you to become an aunt, there need not be an uncle)

Hi ,

I was reading ur blog posts and found some of them to be very good.. u write well.. Why don't you popularize it more.. ur posts on ur blog ‘Memoirs of Alameen’ took my particular attention as some of them are interesting topics of mine too;

BTW I help out some ex-IIMA guys who with another batch mate run www.rambhai.com where you can post links to your most loved blog-posts. Rambhai was the chaiwala at IIMA and it is a site where users can themselves share links to blog posts etc and other can find and vote on them. The best make it to the homepage!

This way you can reach out to rambhai readers some of whom could become your ardent fans.. who knows.. :)

You can also win an exciting t-shirt by winning the contest which is going on in rambhai.com…. hurry up the contest is from 10 – 24 august…

Cheers,
